It is against this backdrop, that an initiative was undertaken to compile all relevant information and make it accessible through a dedicated mobile app and web portal.
Information related to thousands of cultural and heritage sites located around islands can be searched and identified from the portal.
These locations showcase local values, as well as personal and cultural heritage as a testament to Abu Dhabi’s rich culture, and by accessing this information, the present and future generations can understand the locations, landscape and lifestyle of their ancestors.
